McDonald’s and Nevada Love Illegal Immigrants

Posted By admin

McDonalds Loves Illegal AliensWe have brought up the fact that illegal aliens are working at McDonald’s several times on Say NO to Illegal Immigration. Hate to say we told you so!

At least 56 illegal immigrants were arrested in McDonald’s restaurants in northern Nevada late last month. This was after five months of investigation prompted by an identity theft complaint. Imagine that! A brave local law enforcement agency gave ICE information that illegal aliens were working at specific McDonald’s restaurants.

The owner of several of the McDonald’s, located in Reno, Sparks and Fernley, Nevada, insisted that his businesses require employees to provide proper documentation. “As an employer, I do not knowingly hire or employ undocumented or unauthorized workers,” owner Luther Mack said. Well, that’s very convenient for you Mr. Mack. You let your managers hire the illegal aliens and turn your head the other way.

The disgusting Mayor of Reno, Republican Bob Cashell, joined pro-immigration activists at a news conference and was quoted as saying, “Think of some of the people who were arrested and picked up; they have children. They don’t know where their mama or their daddy is. That’s not right.” Agency spokesman Richard Rosa confirmed that ICE was working with Washoe County social services to help provide care for the children in question, and the illegal aliens were allowed to call their family during the processing. Nice spin Republican Mayor Cashell! Remember, illegal aliens can’t vote (yet) so there is no need to try to keep them in your pocket. Mayor Cashell also argued that the arrests were closer to 100, which makes illegal immigrants in McDonald’s restaurants MORE of a problem, but somehow he can’t see it that way. Mayor Cashell has stated he is against illegal immigration, but obviously he does not want to do anything about the serious immigration problem.

A spokeswoman for McDonald’s said they had no comment on the arrests. It is ironic that illegal immigrants were able to lobby and win a case to demand better treatment from farmers who supplied McDonald’s with food produce.

Illegal immigrants can lobby American companies and win their case, but us legal Americans are left with our hands tied behind our backs with only a handful of government officials listening.

Elvira, Elvira, Illegal Alien Back in the News and My Heart’s on Fire

Posted By admin

Elvira Arellano Illegal Alien Deported TwiceWell, Elvira is at it again. We recently wrote about Elvira here.

You remember good ole’ Elvira right? She’s the Mexican illegal alien who was deported from the U.S., and then illegaly crossed the border again, and then stole a Social Security number and then stole a job from a legal American. Prior to her second deportation, she was hiding in a church to avoid prosecution, but at the same time promoting illegal immigration as an activist for the cause.

This time she is blaming the United States government for her illegal ways. That’s right folks, it wasn’t her fault she is an illegal alien. If the USA would have let her come in legally, she wouldn’t be illegal.

Did you get that? That only makes sense to the wacko liberals out there, and of course the many illegals crossing our border every day.

As Neal Boortz best put it, “Oh yeah .. that makes perfect sense. It’s like a rapist blaming the victim. If that woman would have just given him what he wanted, he wouldn’t have had to rape her. Trust me though; there are liberals who actually buy this woman’s excuse.”

Illegal Alien Molester Arrested for Third Time

Posted By admin

We could report these all day long, and we probably should to remind people about the dangers of open borders and illegal immigration.

Yet again, here is another sad illegal alien story.

Illegal alien Salvador Luna is accused of molesting his 3-year-old niece in San Bernardino, California. He was caught by the little girl’s mom, who picked her up after she looked visibly shaken, and found blood on her shirt when she set the girl back down.

Luna was deported seven years ago after being arrested for molesting another child, but he obviously came back. In 2006, Luna was also convicted of a DUI. Officials said they have information that there may be four other family members who have been molested by Luna but never informed anyone.

Judge Steven Ashworth gave Salvador Luna probation for the DUI, his third criminal offense in the United States (well actually his fifth crime when you count illegally crossing the border twice). The California authorities did not inform ICE or any federal department about the two-time child molester who is in our country illegally.

When will Congress pass a law mandating that all police agencies inform the federal government when an illegal alien is arrested? Why is that so hard?

Alternatively, we could just sit back, do nothing and let two-time molesters roam the streets looking for our children.

Mexico is Also Tougher Than the United States on Illegal Immigration

Posted By admin

Get a load of this story. Of course, Mexico complains every time we talk about securing the borders or sending illegal immigrants back to their own country. But, when it happens in their country . . . well it’s a completely different story. They send illegal immigrants right back where they came from, and we unfortunately don’t. Mexico and France are now both tougher on illegal immigrants than the United States of America!

An important part of this story is that the Central Americans were in Mexico to get to the United States border and become our illegal neighbors. Sure, Mexico happened to catch these immigrants, but with their poor infrastructure and corrupt political and police atmosphere, just think how many they’re missing who are now working at a McDonald’s in Texas.

“MEXICO CITY, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) — Mexico has begun the repatriation of some 7,000 Central American undocumented immigrants, mostly to Honduras and Guatemala, local newspaper Sol de Mexico quoted government officials as saying on Wednesday.

The Central Americans were stranded in the southeastern states of Tabasco and Chiapas after a regional train service suspended operations in late July.

They were arrested while walking along the railroad line to the eastern coastal state of Veracruz, 400 km away, from where they hoped to board a train bound for the Untied States.

The first batch of 350 migrants have arrived in Mexico’s southern border city of Tapachula, from where they will be transferred to Guatemala on Tuesday night.

Hundreds of such illegal immigrants enter Mexico through its southern border every day, hoping to cross the country and enter the United States in search of a better life.”

Jim Hayes in Los Angeles is Tough on Illegal Aliens

Posted By admin

Los Angeles Illegal Immigrant DeportedTalk about being tough on illegal immigrants. Jim Hayes, Los Angeles field office director for the federal immigration agency, arrested a long time supporter and advocate for illegal immigrant families. After Elvira Arellano spoke at a downtown Los Angeles church she was arrested by immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. Jim Hayes said Ms. Arellano’s arrest was not a “message to the sanctuary movement as much as it is a message to criminal illegal aliens who are fugitives, that we are going to continue to target them.”

Well said, Jim. Now you’ve got me singing, “Elvira! Elvira! My heart is glad she’s been departed!” Don’t let the wackos make you feel sorry for her son . . . he is visiting her in Tijuana and can obviously move back to Mexico to be with her. No one is breaking families apart, they are just enforcing our laws.

“LOS ANGELES, Aug. 20 — The federal authorities said Monday that the deporting of a Mexican woman who had sought refuge in churches while being an advocate for illegal immigrant families had not signaled a crackdown on religious groups that provide aid to illegal immigrants.

Elvira Arellano, an illegal immigrant, and her son, Saul, at Our Lady Queen of Angels church in Los Angeles last Saturday.
The woman, Elvira Arellano, 32, had defied a federal deportation order by spending much of the past year in a Chicago church seeking to raise awareness of how deportations can separate families. Ms. Arellano left the church over the weekend to visit churches around the country, joined by her 8-year-old son, Saul, who was born in the United States.

On Sunday, after she spoke at Our Lady Queen of Angels, a Roman Catholic church in downtown Los Angeles, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents stopped her car a few blocks away and arrested her.

New Immigration Reforms to Enforce Existing Illegal Immigration Laws

Posted By admin

There is exciting news today in the world of illegal immigration. We checked the calendar to confirm it is not April Fools today, nope, it’s August. Granted, this will not stop illegal immigration once and for all. However, it is refreshing (and very surprising) to see that the U.S. Government is taking actions to enforce existing immigration laws. Watch out for the pro-illegal immigration wackos to claim this will ruin our economy and country as we know it.

“Today, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez Announced a Series of Reforms the Administration Will Pursue to Address Border Security and Immigration Challenges. The following reforms represent steps the Administration can take within the boundaries of existing law to secure our borders more effectively, improve interior and worksite enforcement, streamline existing guest worker programs, improve the current immigration system, and help new immigrants assimilate into American culture.

Border Security
1. The Administration Will Continue to Strengthen Security at the Border with Additional Personnel and Infrastructure. We are committed to implementing the following border security measures by December 31, 2008:

  • 18,300 Border Patrol agents
  • 370 miles of fencing
  • 300 miles of vehicle barriers
  • 105 camera and radar towers
  • Three additional UAVs
  • We will also work to ensure that 1,700 more Border Patrol Agents and an additional UAV are added in 2009.

2. The Administration will Maintain the Policy of “Catch and Return” for Illegal Aliens Apprehended at the Border. For years, limited detention space forced the release of many illegal border crossers from nations other than Mexico with nothing more than a Notice to Appear for a hearing before an immigration judge. Many aliens ignored these notices and instead blended into U.S. society. The Administration has ended this practice and instituted a policy of “catch and return,” ensuring that all removable aliens caught trying to cross the border illegally are held until they can be removed.

  • The Administration Will Further Increase Funding for Detention Beds So There are Places to Detain 31,500 Illegal Aliens Until They Can Be Returned.
  • The Administration Will Also Press Recalcitrant Countries to Work with the United States to Repatriate Citizens Who Are in the United States Illegally.

3. The Departments of State and Homeland Security Will Strengthen Legal Efforts to Keep International Gang Members out of the United States. Gangs are at the root of many U.S. crime problems today, and many of the most dangerous gangs draw significant membership from abroad. The Federal government already denies visas to known members of certain gangs from China, the former Soviet Union, and El Salvador. Today, the President is directing the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to expand this list of dangerous organized gangs from other nations and to ensure that members of those gangs are barred from entry into the United States.

Response from Senator Lugar to our Letter Regarding Illegal Immigration

Posted By admin

We’re back . . . it’s always nice to take a break from politics for a little while. We also have several other political websites, which we’ll announce in the future, so it’s been tough to keep them all updated. If you are a blogger / writer / political junkie and interested in topics such as illegal immigration, global warming, taxes, national health care (and you have a conservative / libertarian mindset) please help us out!

We received a nice comment on our previous “Letter to Lugar” post from a reader who is a member of IFIRE, or Indiana Federation for Immigration Reform & Enforcement. They are an organization in Indiana that is against illegal immigration. Their website and organization is very impressive and we’ll have talk more about them in the near future.

In the meantime, here is the response from Senator Richard Lugar regarding the email we sent him. Although he did not address all the points we brought up, nor do we agree with his overall position on illegal immigration, he did respond in a timely manner which was appreciated.

“July 19, 2007

Thank you for contacting me. I appreciate knowing your thoughts about immigration reform and border security.

I share your support for increased border security and voted last year to pass the Secure Fence Act of 2006. This legislation authorizes the construction of approximately 700 miles of double-layered fencing at specified locations along the almost 2,000-mile southwest U.S. international border with Mexico.

In addition to improving border security, I believe that the status quo is not acceptable and that our immigration policies should be updated in a comprehensive way to provide some realistic resolution to the status of undocumented immigrants living in this country.

On June 28th, unable to bring debate to a close, Majority Leader Harry Reid pulled a bipartisan compromise immigration proposal from the Senate Floor. At this point, it is unclear if the Majority Leader will bring this measure back to the Floor for consideration.

Again, thank you for contacting me.

Sincerely,

Richard G. Lugar
United States Senator”

What Indianapolis is Saying About Illegal Immigration

Posted By admin

As we keep our eye on Indianapolis, the midwest mid-size city that few realize has a serious illegal immigration problem, we find some related comments from Indianapolis and Indiana officials.

“The overwhelming majority of people who come to this country illegally do so for harmless economic motives, but there is a significant number of illegals who represent a criminal element, who are fleeing Mexico and other countries in Central America, who come to America and are doing harm. (Keeping illegal immigrants out of the United States) has been one of the most compelling and enduring arguments for a new temporary worker program.

“Congress has failed the American people in this regard. What this (Jonathan Castillo) case reminds us of is there is a human cost to political failure. . . . We see real problems, and Congress doesn’t seem to be able to overcome partisan bickering to come up with solutions.”

– U.S. Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind.

“Indiana is a prime location for immigrants, because they know that if they get here, as long as they don’t commit a felony, they will stay. Indiana now has to learn how to deal with a foreign population that doesn’t speak English.

“Until they can find a way to give them a driver’s license while they are here or figure out a way to stop having illegal immigrants, police will have a problem identifying illegal immigrants.”

– Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Sgt. Matthew Mount, who developed a training program that teaches Spanish language and Hispanic customs to public safety officers in and around Marion County

Indianapolis Police Trying to Catch Up With Arizona Regarding Illegal Immigration

Posted By admin

In the near future we are going to feature the various police departments and government officials in Arizona who are taking charge of the fight against illegal immigration. Meanwhile, it looks like Indianapolis is barely beginning to fight back against the illegal immigrants. The majority of the State of Indiana is filled with corn fields, fast food restaurants and manufacturing plants . . . and they have all been filled up with immigrant employees.

Why, Indiana is not even near the border, you ask? As you may already realize, the problem of illegal immigration has reached every state of our country. At least some states, towns and cities are being proactive to fight the problem while they wait on the federal government to do something.

Custom agents and Indianapolis Police officers arrested 14 illegal immigrant street gang members last week. They are members of the Sur-13 and Nortenos-14 street gangs, which exist nationwide, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. Agents seized 2 pounds of marijuana, half an ounce of cocaine, a handgun, a sawed off .22 caliber rifle, and $5,000 in illegal immigrant cash.

Supposedly all of the illegal immigrant gang members will be deported back to Mexico. One of the Nortenos-14 members will be turned over to County officials due to a previous drunk driving charge. Another member will be questioned about dealing cocaine before being deported.  The 12 other illegal immigrants are in federal custody and will be deported.

Immigration agents have arrested more than 4,500 street gang members nationwide since launching a crackdown in 2005.

Indianapolis Illegal Immigrant Highlights Flaws of Border Security

Posted By admin

Even little Indianapolis, Indiana has big immigration problems. And no, we’re not only against illegal Mexican immigrants, we are against ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!

One “resident” of Indianapolis has been in trouble with the law for 7 years. He was one of 89,000 illegal immigrants that were deported in 2006 after being convicted of crimes. But, that didn’t stop him. Jonathan was back in Indianapolis one year later and was arrested for raping a 21-year old pregnant woman at knifepoint in front of her 2-year old son. Three months later he climbed a third-story balcony to steal and subsequently rape a 7-year-old girl.

We should just let all illegal immigrants stay in our country, right? We don’t need to worry about silly border security! Read the entire timeline of this one illegal immigrant:

July 7, 1979:
Jonathan Castillo was born in Honduras to Carlos Castillo, a native Honduran, and Maribel Lecama, a Mexican, court records show. He attended school in Honduras, where he completed the sixth grade.

Oct. 8, 2000:
Lawrence police arrested Castillo on a drunken-driving charge. He was freed from the Marion County Jail later that day.

Nov. 10, 2003:
Castillo stole jewelry, checks and cash from a neighbor’s apartment, then sold the jewelry to a pawnshop. He was later convicted of felony theft.

March 18, 2004:
Castillo’s then-girlfriend, Jessica Lopez, made him leave her apartment after an argument. Castillo climbed back in while she was taking a shower. When she rejected his advances, Castillo knocked her down and into a faucet, injuring her back. He was later convicted of domestic battery.
