We can pass a law like this, too! Just call your state representatives and senators and demand it. If you don’t know who your local legislator is, click the link at the top of our home page at http://www.ifire.org and we’ll show you how to find your legislator’s name and contact info. Even if we don’t pass a law like Oklahoma’s, there are still lots of things we can do on the local level. Some of them are also listed on our website.

It sounds like Dee doesn’t know that our federal immigration law already says that it’s a crime to knowingly transport illegal aliens. Doing so can result in the seizure and sale of your vehicle, as well as other punishments. Oklahoma just incorporated the existing federal law into their state law.

I am so glad this has passed and it’s about time some officials listen to the people. The bill was not passed by the people but we Americans of Oklahoma wanted and pressed our officials to pass this. FAIR is not a racist group. This has nothing to do with race. I don’t care where someone is from, if they are here illegally, get out! This is a national security issue and it’s high time ignorant people wake up and realize we won’t have America if we don’t stop this nonsense.

This is the worst law possible. The citizens, especially minorities, are up in arms about this xenophobic law. It is very troubling.

Sections 3 a and b are probably the worst sections. It talks of transporting “illegal aliens.” This is the clause that causes all of the Racial Profiling. If you are riding in a car and are Brown, you have to have picture ID to prove you are a citizen. If you don´t have any picture ID proof, then you go to a detention center.

Every citizen, especially minorities, should be very, very afraid!

This bill was not passed by the people. The racist group FAIR lobbied for it and the OK Congress voted. Shame on them!
