First, let me commend you on an excellent blog and letter to Senator Lugar! We need more people like you who see a problem and take action.

I don't know if you're aware of our organization but Indiana Federation for Immigration Reform and Enforcement has been around for several years now. I thought you might be interested in a nasty encounter several ladies from IFIRE recently had with Lugar's staff. You can read about it on our forum here: http://ifire.org/php_bbbb/viewtopic.php?t=847&highlight=lugar

To Mr. Richard Lugar Senator.
I am a naturalized american citizen. I am very concern about the issues that concern the immigrants. This nation has always been good and kind. Our troops men and women are fighting in Iraq freeing the people who were under Saddam Hussein rein of terror. They are trying to protect our country. But when I see day after day how our own goverment have become a terrorist to me is worse than Saddam. Terrorising innocent people, whose only crime is to try to survive and have a chance to a better life. I know how it feels to be prosecuted, This is what this country is doing terrorising people phsycological torture.
Many childre and people are bein traumatize wondering if my love one goes to work is it coming back? The children are being abandond when parents are rounded up like animals. Now you see who is the terrorist.
Many of these people had work so hard for every little thing they posses, just to lose everything when they are deported.
Stop this withc hunt against immigrants.
Thank you

Good point about all of the jobs lost to illegal immigrants. There is no way that all of the former employees of these places from five years ago found better jobs - not all of them. It's hurting US!
